Stevens Green Team

The Stevens Green Team is made up of students, staff and volunteers who come together to participate in green projects. Volunteers needed! Contact Mr. Peters.

Green Team activities:

• Waste Audit
• Field trip to recycling center
• Lunchroom composting with student captains
• Greening up the south planting strip. Ivy removal- removing wasp habitat native plants
• Bike to school day
• Bike Train
• Bike Racks

Green Team Captains are part of a volunteer rotation team of students from 1st grade through 5th grade. Captains help sort compost, recycling and waste after lunch.
